Abstract
Corona virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corana virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The patients experiences who have successfully recovered from COVID-19 is due to being disciplined and obedient while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 patients, both in carrying out medical care and psychological support. In the healing of COVID- 19, the Osing Tribe used rituals to maintain health traditionally; traditional medicine used and believed to use the method of mantras, tattoos and spices that are eaten or drunk. This study aimed to explore the life experiences of COVID-19 survivors in Osing Tribe in the working area of Paspan Public Health Center Banyuwangi. The research method used qualitative with phenomenological methods with purposive sampling technique. Total population was 123 participants by taking 8 participants. The results showed that 3 themes were analyzed, namely coping strategies in the early stages of being diagnosed with COVID-19, self-care styles and positive support provided by the surrounding environment. Data analysis in this study used the Colaizzi method and the analysis process was carried out with Nvivo 12 software. In this study, the life experiences of COVID- 19 survivors in Osing Tribe indirectly used a Bio psychosocial-Spiritual and Cultural approach so that holistic health is realized.
